This is a picture of ice forming on Lakemont Lake up by Arnold. I was standing on a dock and looking down at the water. This picture amazed me because of the right angle of the ice on the right. It almost looks like a window pane. The ice on the left side wasn't nearly as organized. There were bubbles under the ice, and when we walked on the dock, it made the ice move which produced the strangest sound, kind of like when you crunch Necco wafers into little pieces and move them around your mouth. I know that sounds weird, but I used to love that when I was a kid.
